It Can’t Happen Here

Isa 62:6, “I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,”

Gen 12:1-3, “Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

Israel is approximately the size of New Jersey yet it is on the national news nearly every day, mostly in a negative way.

Israel is not a Christian nation as Christian only make up 1.9%, Muslims make up 19% and Judaism is 73.5%

But they since the days of Abraham to today they have a special place in the heart of Jesus as this book deals with the Jewish people throughout its writings.

Deu 7:6, “For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.”

Deu 7:1, “When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;”

We also understand that Israel also suffered many times in history from under Pharoah who made them slaves and had for a time to control their population had the male children thrown into the river Nile. Also, when times of disobedience to God came under captives from various kings like Nebuchadnezzar. Even in the time of Christ the nation Israel was under the rule of the Romans who ruled with an Iron fist.

Emperor Nero who was certifiable blamed the Christians (most of them were Jews) for the Great fire in 64AD and burned Christians as human torches or were torn apart by beasts in amphitheaters.

In 1933 we had a man appointed Chancellor of Germany that would probably be remembered as one of the most evil men in History to date.

WW2 started in 1939 and Germany had plans to conquer most of Europe and without the US intervention it may of. Part of that was to wipe out the Jewish race as well as any other peoples that didn’t fit his idea what the perfect race should of consist of. The Jewish population was 16 million at start of Hitlers campaign after he was done the population was 11 million and today is 15.8 million.

It Can’t Happen Here!

2Ti 3:1-7, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

2Ti 3:13, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”

In the last 100 years evil men have cropped up throughout our World Stalin killed more than 20 million of his own people, Mao Zedong contributed 78 million deaths, Pol Pot of Cambodia killed 1.7-2 million people in 3 short years.

But that Can’t Happen Here!

Isa 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

In Ezekial 38 and 39 the Bible tells us that Gog and Magog will come against Israel and NO nation comes to her defense, in Daniel 9:27, “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”

Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

Don’t Say, “It Can’t Happen Here!

We are also seeing an attack on the Christian church as we are being seen as out of touch with the real world.

Is your Name in the Book?

The bible is said to be 1/3 prophecy with much of it happening right before our eyes. Though you can find prophecy in most of the books of the bible, Revelations and Daniel are books that weigh very heavily if not completely on the prophetic. The book of Daniel is interesting in that the angel of the lord Michael tells Daniel that the understanding of the prophecies would not be understood until the end, Daniel 12:4, “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

I believe the seal is removed, Rev 5:1-5, “And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?” And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it. So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it. But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.”

I will not take the time to cover the entire set of prophecies in Daniel but the emphasis was on the 70 weeks of Daniel which each week standing for 7 years totaling 490 years of captivity of the nation of Israel in which 69 weeks have been fulfilled leaving 1 week or 7 years left which we call the tribulation period. Daniel also had a vision of the beasts which we also find in the book of Revelations which are represented by the countries of Great Britain, Germany, Russia, and a coming ten nation union of countries to come.

The book of Johns Revelation is different in that we are told to read it, Revelations 1:1-3, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.”

So I said all that to get to this in what I want to share with you, I have a passion for end times and especially the mark of the beast in which I have shared before with you the advances that are being made in the cashless system to come and the identification of all those who are not taken in the Rapture will have to decide if they are going to take or become a martyr for Christ. Revelations 13:11-18, “Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.”

What I want to talk to you is this image, the word image in the Greek means“a likeness, that is literally statue, profile, or figuratively representation, resemblance”

This he then gives it “power” and it exerciseth power that was give him! So, what is this image then? Is it living, is it a hologram of the beast?

Many don’t think two thoughts about all the gadgets that are being advanced that allow you to turn on-off lights, TV, change thermostat, start your car by just your voice, AMAZON’S ECHO HAS MADE TANGIBLE THE PROMISE OF AN ARTIFICIALLY INTELLIGENT PERSONAL VIRTUAL ASSISTANT IN EVERY HOME.

A EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT COMMITTEE HAS VOTED IN FAVOR OF A DRAFT REPORT THAT PROPOSES GRANTING LEGAL STATUS TO ROBOTS, CATEGORIZING THEM AS ‘ELECTRONIC PERSONS’.

AI in Hollywood has been glamorized for years, does anyone remember, Bicentennial man, Johnny #5, I Robot? “With artificial intelligence we are summoning the demon,” said Musk. “In all those stories where there’s the guy with the pentagram and the holy water, it’s like, ‘Yeah, he’s sure he can control the demon.’ Doesn’t work out.” Elon Musk

If you want to see how far robots and AI has come just search “Chinese AI reporters” Is this what John witnessed and wrote down in the book of Revelations as the image of the Beast? My purpose is not so much to scare you or use fear to get anyone in the kingdom of God. But if that works so be it, eternity is a long time to not make sure today your name is written in the lambs’ book of life. You must be Born Again, and there will be no excuses!

Almost Midnight

Eschatology, The study of “Endtimes” is one of my favorite subjects of the bible. With that I firmly believe we are living in the greatest decade ever as we are seeing Bible prophecy being fulfilled before our very eyes!

Matthew 24:3, “And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” The rest of chapter 24 and 25 Jesus then gives answers to this question, such as vs. 6, “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” We see what’s happening in Syria or the joint war games by Russia and China and we can see that this is true, how about vs. 11, “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.” I don’t know about you but I can’t watch or listen to those who sell books, tapes, or anything promoting certain events such as the many “Blood Moons” and try to equate that to being the start of the tribulation period. The ultimate sign is found in Matthew 24:32-34, “Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.” We know this happened May 14th, 1948 when Israel became a nation once again, so without a doubt we are living in the last generation. Interestingly the verse that follows says this, “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” So we can’t proclaim a day, but we I believe proclaim a season and the season is here!

Revelation is one of my favorite books and chapter 13:16-18, talks of the “Mark of the Beast”, “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” Three Square Market, a company in Wisconsin has recently offered implants for its employees, at first for fun, but also convenience. I encourage you to look a the video found on YouTube with an interview with the CEO by NBC. No, I can’t be certain that this is the final product that fulfills this prophecy but I do believe this is a step to make us comfortable with this type of technology.

There is a wonderful day coming, Revelations 21:4, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” And Jesus tells us this in Revelation 22:20, “He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”
